Product Overview
The RIGID D-Series Triple Fog Light Kit upgrades compatible performance-truck fog lights with six compact LED pods arranged in three functional beam roles. Each side receives an SAE fog pod, a Drive pod, and a Spot pod, creating a complete low-mounted lighting system for poor weather, dark roads, open trails, and faster off-road travel. The vehicle-specific layout fills the factory bumper pockets with a clean, aggressive appearance.
The SAE fog pods provide a controlled low and wide pattern for the foreground, shoulders, and nearby hazards. Drive optics extend useful light farther ahead while maintaining broader coverage than a pure spot beam. Spot optics add the longest-reaching component, helping customers see terrain transitions, gates, wildlife, and distant obstacles on remote routes where permitted.
Combining all three patterns creates layered illumination from near field to distance. Customers can use the appropriate circuits for weather, road, or off-road conditions rather than relying on one optic to perform every task. Independent aiming lets the fog pods remain low while the Drive and Spot pods are directed farther along the intended route.
The kit operates from 9V to 36V DC and includes distinct output groups for the SAE, Drive, and Spot pods. Approximate raw-lumen values are 3,445 for the SAE lights, 3,168 for the Drive lights, and 4,752 for the Spot lights, with approximate power values of 40W, 30W, and 44W respectively. This output is packaged in compact D-Series housings that fit the limited space inside the bumper pockets.
Vehicle-specific stainless-steel brackets support the six pods and use a UV-resistant, abrasion-resistant powder coat for durability. Included harnesses, adapters, switches, hardware, and protective covers help create a coordinated installation rather than a collection of separately sourced components. The complete kit weighs approximately 8.8 pounds and is shaped around compatible factory bumper geometry.
Customers should confirm the model year, bumper type, exclusions, sensor clearance, and wiring plan before disassembly. The kit fits selected 2021-2023 performance-truck applications and does not fit the higher-output R variant or later redesigned bumper applications identified in the fitment notes. Whether customers are upgrading for fog pocket performance, trail visibility, dark rural routes, or a complete multi-beam bumper system, the RIGID D-Series Triple Fog Light Kit delivers layered output in a purpose-built six-pod package. Installation Notes
- Confirm the exact model year, bumper design, Raptor variant, sensor locations, and exclusion notes before disassembly.
- Install the brackets in the factory fog pockets, check clearance around all six pods, and aim the SAE, Drive, and Spot lights independently.
- Route each wiring circuit away from heat, sharp edges, moving parts, and pinch points, then secure relays, switches, and connectors against water and vibration.
- Use the different beam circuits only in conditions and locations where each lighting pattern is permitted.
