The Skyjacker Black MAX Shocks are engineered to deliver dependable ride control and durability for trucks and SUVs, especially vehicles equipped with lift kits and larger tires. Designed for both on-road comfort and off-road capability, these shocks provide smooth damping and improved suspension stability across a wide range of driving conditions.

Each shock features a twin-tube hydraulic design with advanced foam-cell technology, which helps maintain consistent damping performance even when the shock heats up during aggressive driving. The foam-cell insert compresses to compensate for oil expansion, preventing air pockets and maintaining stable shock performance throughout its operating temperature range.

Skyjacker also engineered the Black MAX shocks with increased fluid capacity and vehicle-specific valving, helping deliver smoother ride characteristics and improved suspension control. The foam-cell design eliminates internal air, allowing the shocks to be mounted in any direction without affecting performance.

Built with a chrome-plated shaft, sintered iron piston, and heavy-duty steel body, the Black MAX shocks are designed to withstand demanding off-road environments while delivering reliable long-term performance.
