The Bilstein B8 5100 Ride Height Adjustable Shocks are designed to improve suspension performance while allowing drivers to level the front of their trucks or SUVs without using coil spacers. At the core of the B8 5100 design is Bilstein’s 46mm monotube gas-pressure shock architecture, which dissipates heat more efficiently than traditional twin-tube shocks. This design ensures fade-free damping performance and consistent suspension control even under demanding driving conditions.

Multiple snap-ring grooves in the shock body allow the spring seat to be repositioned, enabling front ride height adjustments typically ranging from 0–2.75 inches depending on the vehicle application. This allows drivers to level the stance of their truck while maintaining factory coil springs and mounting hardware.

The shocks also feature Bilstein’s patented digressive valving, which instantly reacts to changing road conditions and suspension movement. The result is improved handling, better ride quality, and increased suspension travel compared to factory shocks.
