The BulletProof Hitches Weight Distribution Adapter is designed for customers who want to use a weight distribution system with a BulletProof Hitch. This adapter helps connect a compatible weight distribution head to the BulletProof adjustable hitch platform, giving customers more flexibility when towing trailers that benefit from weight distribution.
This product family is available in two configurations: Medium Duty Weight Distribution Adapter and Heavy Duty Weight Distribution Adapter. Both versions are designed to work with all BulletProof Hitches and most weight distribution systems, but they differ in listed weight ratings.
The Medium Duty Weight Distribution Adapter is rated at 6,500 lbs trailer weight and 1,500 lbs tongue weight when used with any steel BulletProof Hitch. It is a practical option for customers using compatible medium-duty towing setups and weight distribution systems.
The Heavy Duty Weight Distribution Adapter is rated at 6,500 lbs trailer weight and 1,500 lbs tongue weight when used with Medium Duty Hitches, and 22,000 lbs trailer weight and 3,000 lbs tongue weight when used with Heavy Duty or Extreme Duty Hitches. Customers should confirm the hitch, receiver, trailer, vehicle, and weight distribution system ratings before use.
Each adapter is 2" wide and uses 3/4" diameter holes spaced 1-1/4" on center. This sizing supports compatibility with most weight distribution heads while allowing the adapter to mount into the BulletProof Hitch channel.
