This product group includes both vehicle-specific Toyota reverse kits and universal flush mount reverse kits. The Toyota 4Runner and Toyota Tacoma versions are built around S2 Sport Wide Cornering Clear LED lights, mounted underneath the rear bumper for rear-facing illumination. Baja Designs describes the 4Runner kit as useful for reversing on trails, connecting trailers, and seeing hazards behind the vehicle.

For Toyota applications, the main difference is the wiring configuration. The 4Runner kit is available as a Toggle Switch Kit or a Plug-and-Play Trailer Harness Kit. Both include two S2 Sport Wide Cornering Clear lights and mounting brackets, but the toggle version includes a toggle switch harness and 10-foot extension harnesses, while the plug-and-play version includes a trailer hitch harness adaptor.

The Tacoma version follows the same reverse-light purpose and uses two S2 Sport Clear/Wide Cornering lights. Baja Designs lists a toggle-style kit and a plug-and-play trailer harness version for the 2024–2026 Tacoma, with the 448248 version using an adapter hitch mount light harness and a 55-inch splitter harness.

For universal or custom rear lighting applications, the S2 reverse family also includes S2 Pro Black Flush Mount and S2 Sport Black Flush Mount reverse kits. These are designed for customers who want recessed rear lighting in a bumper, body panel, utility panel, or custom mounting location. Both universal flush mount versions are available in Wide Cornering and Work/Scene patterns, and both list Clear as the lens color.
