The Baja Designs DOT LP6 Headlight Kit is designed for Jeep owners who want road-legal headlight performance with the aggressive look and lighting DNA of Baja Designs’ LP6 platform. Inspired by the LP6 trusted in off-road racing, the DOT LP6 has been re-engineered with projector optics to meet FMVSS 108 standards while maintaining the iconic round Baja Designs appearance.

This kit provides low beam, high beam, and integrated daytime running light functionality. Baja Designs lists the DOT LP6 at 3,480 raw lumens on low beam and 5,280 raw lumens on high beam, with 42,568.7 candela on low beam and 62,611.5 candela on high beam. Power draw is listed at 26W / 1.8A on low beam, 40W / 2.8A on high beam, and 5W / 0.4A for the DRL.

The DOT LP6 Headlight Kit is available for two Jeep platform groups: Wrangler JL / Gladiator JT and Wrangler JK. JL/JT kits are designed for vehicles with factory LED headlights only, while JK kits are designed to replace OEM halogen headlights and will not work with 2017–2018 Sahara/Rubicon trims equipped with LED headlights.

The main customer-facing option difference is the DRL color. Both Jeep platform groups are available with amber DRL or white/clear DRL versions. The lighting performance remains the same across DRL colors, so customers should choose based on appearance preference and the desired daytime running light look.
