Product Details

The Rigid D-Series SAE Fog Lights deliver controlled poor-weather illumination from a compact 3-inch by 3-inch pod. Their small footprint works well in factory fog openings, aftermarket bumpers, grille guards, and custom brackets where a larger round lamp or light bar would be difficult to package. Customers gain a rugged lighting upgrade without overwhelming the front end with oversized equipment.

The SAE J583 fog optic is designed to spread light low and wide across the immediate driving area. This pattern helps reveal lane edges, shoulders, road texture, and nearby hazards in fog, rain, snow, dust, and other low-contrast conditions. When mounted and aimed correctly, the controlled cutoff also limits unnecessary upward glare compared with an unfocused auxiliary beam.

Higher-output D-Series PRO configurations produce up to approximately 3,445 raw lumens per light from the compact housing. The selective-yellow 40W version reaches that output while operating from 9V to 36V DC. This balance of strong output and small size makes the D-Series practical for work trucks, daily-driven SUVs, trail rigs, and specialty vehicles with limited mounting space.

White, selective yellow, and dual-color versions let customers match the light to their most common conditions. White output provides a crisp neutral appearance for clear-night travel, while selective yellow can improve perceived contrast in fog, rain, dust, and snow. Dual-color lights combine both choices in one housing, allowing the driver to change output without replacing the pod.

A high-grade aluminum alloy housing protects the electronics and acts as an oversized heat sink. The impact-resistant polycarbonate lens shields the optics from gravel, branches, road spray, and trail debris, while IP68-rated sealing, a pressure-equalizing vent, and integrated thermal management support operation through water, dust, and temperature changes. Reverse-polarity, over-voltage, and under-voltage protection on supported versions add electrical durability.

These lights can be installed as a universal pair or incorporated into vehicle-specific replacement kits. Customers should select the correct color configuration, verify bracket and harness needs, and aim the fog pattern after mounting so the light remains useful and controlled. Whether customers are upgrading factory fog lights, improving poor-weather visibility, building a compact bumper system, or adding adaptable auxiliary lighting, Rigid D-Series SAE Fog Lights deliver strong performance in a small rugged package.
