Coverage generally does not apply to improper installation, misuse, unauthorized modification, normal wear, cosmetic trail damage, impact damage outside the warranty terms, tampering, or use that does not follow applicable laws and product instructions. A replaceable guard that has absorbed rock or debris impact may show wear that is consistent with its protective purpose rather than a manufacturing defect.
