Your BEDSLIDE S assembly is now complete.

Part 2: Install the BEDSLIDE S in Your Truck

Step 1: Center the BEDSLIDE & Check Fitment

  • Place the assembled BEDSLIDE into your truck bed.
  • Center it between the wheel wells.
  • Leave 1½ inches of clearance between the bulkhead and the BEDSLIDE frame.
  • Confirm that the tailgate clears the unit when closed and that the tray does not contact the tailgate when extended.
  • If clearance is an issue or your truck has a step in the gate, you may need the Lift Block Kit (Part #FPLB1)

Step 2: Mark & Drill Mounting Holes

  • Slowly extend the upper tray from the closed position to avoid shifting placement.
  • Using the pre-punched holes in:
    • The cab-end cross member
    • The center cross member
    • Mark (4) mounting locations.
    • Drill (4) 1/2” holes, choosing the hole location that rests on the highest part of the truck bed floor

Step 3: Install Riv Nuts

  • Move the BEDSLIDE to access the drilled holes.
  • For each hole:
    • Insert a 5/16” bolt through the riv nut tool and thread into a riv nut.
    • Insert the assembly into the mounting hole.
    • Tighten while holding the riv nut tool steady with a wrench.
    • Ensure the riv nut sits flush as it compresses beneath the bed surface.
    • Do not over-tighten.
    • Do not use air impact tools
    • Repeat for all four mounting points.

Step 4: Bolt Down the BEDSLIDE

  • Reinstall the BEDSLIDE into the truck bed and align the mounting holes with the installed riv nuts.
  • Secure each location using:
    • 5/16" x 2” hex head bolts
    • Split lock washers
    • Flat washers
    • Tighten securely

Step 5: Remove Protective Film

  • Peel away the protective film from the tie-down rails.
  • If any lettering lifts with the film, reposition it and press firmly using a card or your hand to ensure proper adhesion

Installation Complete

Your BEDSLIDE S Model is now fully installed and ready to provide safe, convenient cargo access every time you open your tailgate.
