Care & Maintenance Guide for Your SNUGTOP Truck Cap
Jan 15 2026
- Avoid abrasive cleaners that could scratch the clear coat.
- Do not wipe painted surfaces with a dry cloth, as this can cause swirl marks.
- Allow the finish to cure for approximately 60 days before applying any wax.
- Wipe the area between the rubber collar and the cab with a damp cloth once a week.
- When waxing the cap, also wax the area where the rubber collar contacts the cab to minimize friction and protect the truck's paint.
- Lubricate all moving door-lock parts once a month using an oil-based lubricant.
- Avoid silicone sprays or petroleum-distillate products such as WD-40, as these can damage the components over time.
