Product Overview

Baja Designs Squadron/S2/S1 3-Light Splitter Harness creates a coordinated electrical path for operating three compatible compact lights from one main harness. It is designed for Squadron, S2, and S1 lighting and includes the splitter arrangement needed to distribute power to three light connections. This layout is useful for centered three-pod systems, mixed front and side coverage, roof or rack arrays, and utility builds that benefit from an odd-numbered light arrangement.

The harness includes an ON/OFF/ON switch kit and splice connectors that can support a high-beam trigger when the vehicle and installation are compatible. This gives customers more control choices than a simple two-wire branch, but every function must be planned around the host vehicle electrical system. Trigger integration should be completed only after verifying signal type, voltage, grounding, and any vehicle electronics that could be affected.

A three-light system can place one pod at the center and two toward the edges, or distribute lights among forward, cornering, side, and task positions. Beam pattern, lens color, output, and mounting location should be chosen together so the three lights complement rather than compete with one another. The splitter manages connection layout; it does not increase the electrical capacity of the main harness, relay, fuse, switch, or power source.

Circuit planning is essential because three lights can create a meaningful combined load. Customers should total the amperage or wattage of all connected lights, confirm compatibility with the main harness, and use correct fuse and relay protection. Connectors should be fully seated and strain-relieved, and unused trigger features should be protected in line with the electrical design rather than left exposed.

The prefabricated format reduces the need to create an improvised three-way branch from loose wire and generic connectors. That can improve serviceability, consistency, and installation appearance when the lights use the intended Baja Designs connections. The harness should still be routed away from exhaust heat, engine movement, steering, suspension travel, sharp edges, and any location where water or debris can remain trapped around a connector.

This splitter supports custom truck, SUV, powersports, trailer, and work-equipment lighting systems where three compatible lights are the right layout. It gives customers a purpose-built way to coordinate the branch connections and switching components while retaining responsibility for the complete circuit design. Whether customers are upgrading for a three-pod forward array, cornering support, rack lighting, or utility illumination, the Squadron/S2/S1 3-Light Splitter Harness delivers organized multi-light control for compatible systems.
