Full-Size Off-Road Power

The Baja Designs LP9 Pro is a full-size auxiliary LED light built for serious nighttime trail use. Nine forward-projecting LEDs provide powerful near- and mid-field illumination, while the bold housing delivers the distinctive, race-inspired appearance of the LP Series.

Beyond its forward output, the LP9 Pro combines high, low, and backlight modes with Integrated Peripheral Technology and Direct Ducted Cooling. This all-in-one design helps drivers see more of the surrounding terrain while maintaining performance through demanding off-road conditions.

Six dedicated IPT LEDs expand the usable light spread to 200 degrees, illuminating trail edges, turns, and surrounding terrain alongside the main forward beam. Choose Driving/Combo for balanced near-field and distance coverage or Spot for a longer, narrower reach down the trail.

Coverage

Baja Designs recreational automotive and off-road auxiliary lights are covered by a limited lifetime warranty or 49,930 hours of operation, whichever comes first. Warranty eligibility is limited to the original owner and requires proof of purchase or proof of product registration. Coverage applies to qualifying defects in product design or manufacturing.

Exclusions & Claims

Warranty coverage does not include installation errors, ordinary wear and tear, misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, collision damage, unauthorized modifications, or configurations not completed by Baja Designs or an authorized party. Warranty claims require approval and a Return Merchandise Authorization before the product is returned, and installation labor is not covered.

What is the difference between the Spot and Driving/Combo patterns?

The Spot pattern uses a focused 8-degree beam to project light farther down the trail. The Driving/Combo pattern blends 8-degree spot optics with 42-degree driving optics, providing a smoother combination of distance and near-field trail coverage.

What does Integrated Peripheral Technology do?

Integrated Peripheral Technology uses six side-facing LEDs to create a wide, 200-degree spread of usable light. This helps illuminate corners, trail edges, and nearby terrain beyond the main forward-facing beam.

Does the LP9 Pro include a wiring harness?

A wiring harness is not included with the individual LP9 Pro light pod. Baja Designs recommends its LP9 Pro wiring harness for safely powering and controlling up to two lights, including their high, low, and backlight functions.

Can the lens or beam pattern be changed?

Yes. Baja Designs uService technology allows customers to replace damaged lenses or change the lens color and optical pattern without replacing the complete light. The housing must be correctly reassembled and sealed according to the supplied service instructions.

Which backlight colors are available?

The LP9 Pro is offered with amber, red, blue, or green backlighting. Red, blue, and green backlights are intended for exhibition use only and should not be operated on public roads.

Is the LP9 Pro vehicle-specific?

The individual LP9 Pro pod is a universal light. Installation requires a suitable mounting location, compatible brackets or hardware, and the correct wiring solution for the vehicle and desired lighting functions.
