SERVICE, PARTS AND REPAIRS
When you need service, parts, repairs or warranty support, they're all as close as the nearest LEER Dealer.
For repairs, parts, adjustment or warranty service for your LEER truck cap or tonneau, contact the LEER Dealer where you purchased your product or any LEER Dealer located in your area.
LEER Dealers are the factory-authorized source for all service of LEER products. (LEER factories do not perform repairs for, or ship parts to retail customers.)
LEER Dealers set all prices for products, parts, repairs and other services. They are equipped with the tools and materials to handle most issues quickly and efficiently. In most cases, they will ask you to bring your truck to their location to evaluate what is best for you.
The LEER Limited Lifetime Warranty helps protect you from major expenses resulting from defects in manufacturing and materials, and is one of the strongest warranties in the aftermarket automotive products industry. The warranty statement is provided with each LEER product shipped and sold.

MAINTENANCE AND CARE
Our cap engineers suggest: Check the tightness of clamps after the first week of operation; then again every 6 months. Clean the track on sliding windows and twist windows to remove any dirt. Application of a dry silicone, such as Camie 999 in the track will allow for easy operation. Pushbuttons and lever arms can be lubricated every 3 to 6 months with lithium grease or equivalent.
Washing, Waxing and Paint Care
Wait 90 days before first wash or wax
Based on the recommendation of our paint manufacturers, DO NOT wash or wax your new cap or tonneau for the first 90 days. Our paint suppliers make this recommendation to allow their paint to fully cure and harden; they make the same recommendations for new car and truck paints. Because of our rapid delivery schedules, LEER products are often delivered just days after they are painted. Waxing has the potential to damage the fresh paint until it is fully cured.
After 90 days, we suggest routine washing by hand with a mild car soap and soft rag or sponge. Apply a quality paste wax designed for automotive finishes twice a year. If you ever need to deep clean the surface due to oxidation, we suggest using products designed for fiberglass restoration, readily available at RV and marine outlets.
Additional care and maintenance tips
