When Ford Motor Company enlisted the help of LEER and its Project Truck team for a build up of their compact Ranger pickup, the assignment was clear: Win the attention and approval of young, entry-level truck buyers. Ford knows that developing approval for the Ford brand while customers are young can lead to life-long brand loyalty - and life-long purchases of Ford trucks.
LEER enlisted the help of young, street-wise customizers and designers to turn the affordable Ranger into a true urban legend, pumping up the performance and power of every aspect of the vehicle. From under-the-hood tweaks, to interior upgrades, to exterior enhancements, and near-nuclear-powered audio and video, the LEER "Zero Gravity" Ranger has it all.
Importantly, though, the extreme makeover of the Ranger used aftermarket accessories, proving that a dream machine can start as a basic pickup, with upgrades coming as time and budget allow.
