LEER Twist
Handle & Keyless Remote
Just 1/8th of a turn of this sleek,
smooth all die-cast handle releases the rotary latches on our 700
Series tonneau or Model 100XQ, where it is installed as Standard Equipment; and Model 100XL caps, where it is optional. For even more
convenience, the handle is designed to accept our new state-of-the-art
keyless remote release. Just use your factory original keyfob to unlock
the handle when you unlock your doors - and importantly, the LEER
tonneau or cap door stays latched even if it is unlocked. The key
overrides the electronic release, just in case of a dead battery -
you're never locked out!
The
LEER SuperLift Assist for Tonneaus
When you open a tonneau, it helps
to have the leverage and pressure of gas-assisted props. But because
of the way many props are mounted, they can't push up when the tonneau
is closed - just when you need them most! The LEER SuperLift Assist
changes all of that, by dynamically changing the angle of the props
as the tonneau opens and closes. The SuperLift Assist drops the attachment
point of the gas prop below the top of the truck bed so it can push
up and give you a helping hand when you want to open the tonneau.
You'll really appreciate this innovation every time you open and close
your LEER tonneau. The SuperLift Assist is standard on the
LEER 700 Series, and is optional on the LEER 500 Series.
The
LEER 700 Series Tonneau 4-Bar Hinge
Unlike traditional "piano hinges",
the LEER 4-Bar Hinge lifts our tonneau up and away from the truck
cab as the tonneau opens. This allows our
700 Series tonneau to have more dimension and fit closer to the
truck cap than other designs.
The
LEER 700 Series Front FlexSeal
Instead of opening up a gap for water
and snow, LEER 700 Series tonneaus open
up a continuous rubber shield that unfolds and protects your truck
bed from the water and debris that collects on top of the tonneau.
By installing a custom rubber extrusion across the front edge of the
700 Series tonneau, we completely cover the gap between the open tonneau
and the front bed rail. The extrusion unfolds to protect your truck
bed when the tonneau is open; then folds out of sight on the front
bed rail when the tonneau is closed.

available from LEER, our magnetic switch turns your dome light on
as you open you cap rear door. The magnetic switch has no moving parts
to break, wear out or freeze up; the dome light has a manual switch
too
